Hi, I'm Fiona — the hands and heart behind Forage and Clay located in beautiful Rangiora.

Thanks so much for stopping by — it means a lot when someone chooses to support a small, local New Zealand business.

My love for clay started at my mother's kitchen table as a kid, and after years of night classes and weekend dabbling, a pottery wheel gifted at Christmas 2019 was the nudge I needed to leave the corporate world behind for good.

Forage and Clay is my home for it all: small-batch, functional tableware that I shape and glaze myself at my studio in the Old School Collective in Waikuku, alongside a curated edit of gifts and homewares, and fresh and dried florals, each one chosen with the same care I bring to my own work. Every product you find here has passed through my hands in one way or another, whether thrown on the wheel or hand-picked for the shelf.

Forage & Clay is a celebration of nature, creativity, and community. Our shop is filled with blooms and handmade ceramics that tell stories of connection — to the earth, to our craft, and to the people who bring it all to life.
